Dear Experts,

I am very much new to this exercise, and as a first step I was trying to check for the FlashIsland Library in the MIME repository under Public/BC/UR/..

But i am unable to find that library in my version of the SAP.

Currently working on SAP ECC6.0 version.

Suggest me something so that i cannot carry on with the exercises.

Good day!

Hi,

please find the info on this link.

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/46/bb182fab4811d4968100a0c94260a5/frameset.htm

For addressing MIME objects in the layout of your BSP, use the relative path specifications. You enter the paths relative to your own BSP application. When you create a BSP application, the system automatically creates a corresponding folder with the name of your BSP application in the MIME Repository.

If you specify u201Cxxx.gifu201D, this always refers to the folder in the current BSP application.

Hi Govind,

I doesnt want any MIME to be created and i am also not working on BSP.

I am trying to expedite on FLash Islands using Web dynpro ABAP.

There i am unable to view Flash Island libraries under NW7 folder in MIME repository.

What 'release' are you on? Web Dynpro ABAP with flash islands will only be available with release SAP NW 7.01 (Enhancement Package 1).

Hi Mickey,

Thank you for the reply.

My version of the SAP release is 700. I have checked it from Menu bar i.e., System->status.

In that menu it was written as '700'.

Should i upgrade it to 7.10?

Please help me in this direction.

Regards,

Shashikanth. D

No you should not need to upgrade to 7.10 (nor would that get you the functionality you are looking - and depending upon what application you are running on top of the NetWeaver stack it would not even be possible to upgrade). Instead what you need is the SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Enhancement Package 1. Your release level will then be 7.01. What application are you running? Standalone NetWeaver or part of the Business Suite. The way you get the EnhP depends upon your application.

Please don't do this again. I know you probably just want to help, but if you don't know anything about the topic at hand don't respond as you are just making the problem worse. Your answer is so far off topic that it isn't even related to the correct technology (BSP vs. WDA). Please me more careful in the future.

Shashikanth,

If you view the step-by-step example on

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/10989ef6-968c-2b10-50a9-eb34a526...

you should see a folder called nw7. If you do not, you probably have no applied Enhp4.
