Shoppingcart creation error:Enter a country for partner X with type XXX

Hi All,

Does anybody know the below error when trying to create a shopping cart in SRM?

001 : Enter a country for partner 0000104811 with type 'Goods Recipient'

001 : Enter a country for partner 0000104811 with type 'Requester'

System status INCM is active (Shopping Cart 103878623)

I hope you can help me resolve this error. Any assitance is highly appreciated.

Check the user consistency, the user has some issues in its attributes.

Note 702787 - Message "Enter a country"

If you have made an incorrect entry and you then enter an existing partner, the system displays the message "Enter a country for partner XXX with type 'ABC' " by mistake.

Cause and Prerequisites

If you make an incorrect entry, the system sets the field ADDR_ORIGIN to

value 'B', because the incorrect entry is to be saved as a document

address. If you then make a correct entry, the system does not update this

value, and it does not find the master address of the new partner as a

result .

Solution

Implement the attached source code corrections.

😃 Thanks. I checked the consistency of user and then repair the user using repair level 1 and 2 and it solved the issue.

Hello Muthu,

Thanks for correct reply... I checked the user consistencies and they were fine... then I checked the note provided by you and asked User to delete the line item for which the error was coming and subsequently the Shopping cart was processed.

I also checked the Shopping cart details in BBP_PD and found the same symptoms as listed by you.

Now, my doubt arises because the SAP Note is affecting upto SMR 6 and mine is SRM 7.0 , so I am not sure why the issue still happened in SRM 7
