MDM QA Environment

Hello -

we are looking to do an estimate for a client and I would like to know if it is possible to have more than one QA environment?

Hi Nadine,

Yes in Real time situations sometimes there arise a need to have the Quality environment in staging level.

In this case you can have two Quality servers.

But bearing in mind the consideration that two Quality servers will add overhead to the system.

Keeping in mind the Functionalities provided by SAP MDM to deal with such situations.

You can have a single Quality server in MDM with two Repositories say Material QA1 and Material QA2.

You can recreate the second rep using the Archive ,Duplicate or Master Slave mechanism.

Hi!

Another environment here means another deployment of MDM server ,if concern is only Data then you can have multiple repositories else go for fresh deployment on new machine(e.g QC environment).
