Adding approvers with 0 authority

Our users would like to have the ability for carts to route to two levels of approval. We have something similar set up on the SAP side for FI documents. On SAP, we have an approver job role with 0 dollar authority.

Is it possible to have an approver role on the SRM side with the 0 authority? I don't think we want to consider this as a reviewer because we want to prevent the cart from going to the next level until the first level of approval is done. If so, if a user does not want two levels of approval, would the system automatically release the first level?

We are using the following workflow in SRM in 4.0: 14000133 and 14000134.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

In order to bring your option, you need to find a criteria to skip the first approver in the BADI itself.

Thanks. We'll take a look at the BADI.

Do you know if there can actually be approvers set up with a 0 dollar approval authority? I know for the job roles we have to designate the dollar amount under the personalization tab (BBP_APPROVAL_LIMIT).

I think you can, but better to do under BADI
