Dear All,

We have a scenario like this - industry is FMCG (into Food) .here Say for Ex. Sauce we manufacture will be packed in bottles (100ml or 250ml) and will be treated as Semi finished Product.

10 Bottles will form case .So, Sale unit of measure is CASE

Ex.10bottles = 1 case which is FERT material type.

Bottle is treated as Semifinished Material type

Question here is:

We sold sauce in Cases to depot /distributors .On reaching with relevent inspection,distributor finds TWO bottles in the case are damaged as he cannot sell will return the case itself .While receiving how do we map /receive the same as 8 bottles are good and 2 bottles are damaged? and the same to go to respective storage locations.

How do we map the same ? Please advice .

You can manage the bottle like material LEIH. Check the print file http://help.sap.com/printdocu/core/Print46c/en/data/pdf/SDSLS/SDSLS.pdf in page 227 and ss.

Dear Umesh,

We need to Create Return Order for the entire case the Customer has returned & issue Credit note.VA01(RE)-PGR-VF01(Credit note).As Customer Returns will come & sit in Returns Stock,the good ones has to be moved back to unrestricted use.For this use Mvt type MB1B-453 (Returns to Own) and move it.

Thanks for your time,

Taking returns as Full case is ok, Question is Case is Fert item in which 10 bottles are there .As Case is sale unit of measure I take return as Full Case only .Inside Case few bottles (semi-finished) are defective Finished product has BOM i.e:

Case -Main item

10 bottles -Child items

How do we do the same?

receive the full case in your return order and then you can create 2 separate deliveries which will have 2 bottles and 8 bottles separately
