SAP License

Hi All,

Can any one let me know how to apply for license key?

i got the Hardware key through command saplicense -get on HP-UX

i have to apply the SAP License, where should i post my request and also how to apply, as its giving like "Logon Refused" when i tried to log in with SAP*. Should i apply this on OS Level, kindly suggest.

Hi Syed,

You will have to request license on service.sap.com

Once you receive license from SAP. Use tcode slicense to install license from SAP level and click on install OR from OS level use command saplicense -install and follow instruction.

You should not have any problem to logon as SAP*... logon to client 000 and apply the license via SLICENSE

If you're having trouble you can apply the license via OS by using saplicense -install command.

Dear Syed,

Is your initial 30 day period over?

You have to apply for license at service market place - http://service.sap.com/licensekeys (you must have the license requesting authorization or an suser id with the proper authorization).

You can apply using the transaction slicense.
