Need help with E-commerce and SAP intigration

Hello Experts, Could anyone please let me know the best approach on integrating sap with E-commerce using XI, like wtu2019s the right data format that e-commerce system can understand and which approach would be the best for customer data interchange .

Hi

integrating the R/3 with the E-commerce , that uses its own xml version, we check their Message schema (xml form) is supported by XI .

XI supports schema in xsd, wsdl or dtd format only which could be imported under External Definition in IR.

if E-commerce hub is in another schema version then the XI does not support

Thanks for the quick response abhishek, actually I am new to XI and this is my first scenario, which is to integrate Sap and e-commerce using XI. So according to you I need to use an http adapter or else which would be the right adapter.

If your e-commerce application is a portal based application then you may use http adapter, soap adapter or java proxy in this case. You will have to first identify the message it could send to the communicating system.
