Difference Between VL70 and VL71

Would like to know the differences between using T.Code VL71 and VL70 in detail by functional point of view and output type point of View and the situation the codes can be used

Dear Durai,

VL70 - is used for output for picking not for picking the qty in delivery

VL71 - Print Delivery Note. To do so, make sure output determination configuration is available for the deliveries in the IMG.

Note: Tutorial-Purpose

Configuration required for the picking list /delivery note .

SPRO --> IMG --> Logistics Execution --> Shipping --> Basic Shipping Functions --> Output Control --> Output Determination --> Maintain Output Determination for Outbound Deliveries

--> Create the condition tables

--> Create Access Sequence

--> Assign the condition tables in the access sequence

Create the Output Condition type and assign the access sequence.

Thereafter, maintain the medium in which you want the output to behave, whether you want to issue it multiple times , with which partner you want to do, timing of the output etc.

Once done, go to VV21 , then create your condition records as required.

But what is the functionality behind in real time situation. As I understand, you take the print out give it to picker, although the Delivery is still not a confirmed one.

What exactly is the usage behind when it is not getting confirmed.

Hi,

• VL70 is output from picking list, it only uses to print out the delivery note with picking process and status;

• VL71 is output from deliverys, that's mean, all delivery note can be printed out with it!
