CHARM Configuration Issue

Dears,

I am configuring Change request Management on solman 7.0.

I have only activated required BC sets for it.

Now when I am creating a Maintenence project, in Change request tab on clicking create task its showing error:

"Project is not released,hence Cycle can not be created"

Please suggest what could be the root cause of this error and if possible,Please share some documents to configure it.

Hi Shivam

You say that you have only activated the BC sets. Have you done the TMS config part? Also you need to add a domain link to your Solman system. Do that and then refresh your project then create your maintanance project.

Hi Shivam,

I am getting the same error "Message from function module /TMWFLOW/CALC_SINGLE_TRACK: No domain controller for TST".

I check SMSY-Landscape settings and everything looks ok.

Could you please tell me how did you fix this problem? Is it related with TMS configuration?

As described in the document i followed all steps created domain link and maintained all settings in TMS but still while creating task list its showing syncronization issue:

Message from function module /TMWFLOW/CALC_SINGLE_TRACK: No domain controller for PRD

Message from function module /TMWFLOW/CHECK_PRJ_CONSISTENCY: No domain controller for PRD

Message from function module /TMWFLOW/CALC_SINGLE_TRACK: No domain controller for PRD

Hi,

Go to SCMA

Right click againts the project on Task List and select

"Lock/Unlock Groups/Subsequent Groups"

This should solve your problem.

On doing same as you suggested i am getting message:

Task list 0-SAP-DEMO was checked by SHIVAM on 13.01.2009 at 12:32:30

Task List 0-SAP-DEMO no Longer Conforms to the Current Definitions

Task plan 0-SAP-DEMO not found

Please suggest.

Yes,

I have created a maintainence project by solar_project_admin but in system landscape->change request tab

while clicking on refresh its showing that syncroniztion problem.

Hi,

Kindly check the Landscapy check in system landscape.

Also please check, does your project has an IMG-project with CTS-project assigned.

Landscape Check is OK...by Read system data Remote in SMSY

and IMG project is also assigned to this maintainence project but no CTS project created yet as this option is not active in change request tab.

Hi,

This might be the problem with the trusted RFC.

Check All the RFC's of the satellite system.

Regenerate the RFC for transport route in STMS.

The TMS User is Auto generated one in 000 client. But still check the Authorizations for that also.

Solman and satellite RFCs related to SMSY means trusted,back,TMW all working fine but i think issue is with some TMS specific RFC.

Regenerate the RFC for transport route in STMS.

Hi,

Kindly seek the Help of a basis consultant for this. The option is available in STMS menu. They will delate the existing RFc's and regenerate it.

I reconfigured TMS anf now reason of asyncronization has changed.

Its showing:

System cancel RFC destination SM_PRDCLNT000_READ, Call TMW_VERSION_TEST: Function module "TMW_VERSION_TEST" not found.

Please suggest...RFC SM_PRDCLNT000_READ is working fine.

Hi Shivam,

make sure your user has the following autorization obejcts in SolMan and all satelite systems.

S_RFC

S_RFCACL

If they weren't there, delete the RFCs in SolMan and the users created in the satelite systems. Also delete the RFC connections in the satelite systems that come back to SolMan and the users created in SolMan for those RFCs. Regenerate the RFCs.

The reads will work fine but the trusted ones will fail without the above auths.

Hi,

check the following path Your project --> System Landscape --> Img Project, is it green status for the development system. This IMG project need to be created in the satellite system.

Then check the status of this IMG project. Post the results here.
