acknowledgement?

By using SOAP communication or HTTP .

as we create request / response and error message types.

here the response message type gives us the acknowledgment.

like this we can create acknowledement?Is alert and acknlowdgement are same?same procedure we use is it?

If you look at word acknowledgement literally, then it is similar to response. But technically, they are different. Response is the message generated in sync scenraios. However, you may have ack in async scenario too. It could be an system ack or a transport ack. Ack is generated as per the request from the sender side.

Ack and alerts are not same. Alerts are raised based on some unsuccessful message. This message is usually an exception raised but it could be other message too.
