"zero quantity of material available" in delivery

Hi ,

Following is my issue :

I have 10 qty of batch managed material.

I create a delivery for 10 qty and save it without entering a batch.

when i go again in VL02N and give the batch for the 10 qty i get an error of " 0 qty of material available".

When I tried doing the same in a different client it doesn't gives me the error and allows me to enter the batch.

my delivery line item cat is active for availability check.

Can I get some inputs in this issue.

Dear Abhishek,

This is because of the availability check only. If you delete the line item and try to enter the mat no. with batch it will allow u to do so.

"Possibly" the system checks if there are any material that are un-batch managed. It is telling you that there are not any.

Perhaps when u saved it, it may have checked for stock of any kind ( batch or non-batch). i am just speculating here.

the av. chk is active at what level, plant or storage loc?

the system gives this msg becoz the material stock is getting blocked against other order.

to remove the material from gettting blocked u can use transaction V_RA or V_V2.

check whether the material is available in the plants both the time.
