Intrastat Declaration for EU countries

Hi Experts,

please do you know if for SAP Intrastat declarion to EU authorities, it is possible to manage in a unique download file Import declaration (Purchasing) together with Export declaration (Sales)?

Currently I'm able to generate two separate files using standard SAP transaction EN99 and ENGR: one file for import declaration and one file for export decalration.

Thank you very much

Kind Regards

Andrea.

Hi Andrea,

We implemented intrastat at a Customer site a couple years again and we had 2 files:

Intrastat inbound (purchasing)

Intrastat outbound (selling)

The program is the same but you run it twice with different data selections.

When reporting to the tax administration (Hacienda Española), we uploaded the 2 different files in 2 different steps and everything worked fine.

Are you sure have to report only one combined file to the Instituto Nazionale di Statistica?

SAP documentation states that

There is one intra-European Union trade statistics ( INTRASTAT ) declaration for receipts (arrivals) and one for dispatches.

Hi Franck,

thank you very much for your answer.

What I was thinking is the following:

- Program used to extract data for INTRASTAT declaration creates record in the intermediate databse VEIAV.

- From this table, file for authorities can be generated.

- So you can use two different program runs (one for Sales and one for Purchasing) to fill in VEIAV table;

- After this, I was thinking if there is a functionalities able to extract from VIEAV only 1 file for authorities, for both Purchasing data and Sales data.

Thank you very much

Hi Andrea,

Of course you can create a program to mimic SAP functionality and create only one file instead of two.

But why would you want to do that if SAP functionality fits the business requirement?

In Spain at least you have to upload 2 different files at the Tax Administration

Spain is different, but that is a European requirement

Franck
