Dear All,

I have some idea for this one. If network is one of the order then we need not to go for production order. then it is no need to for routing in PP, then is there any chance to routing in PS. Is there any thing for this.

Thanks & Regards

Dear All,

Please think it once again. At what level we need to run MRP. If u want to run MRP at Project level or Sales Order level. If u want to run MRP at sales order level then we didnt get the project wise dietails. am i right. If u run MRP at Project/WBS level then Project system is not a stastical.

let me know any one have any sugession

hi ,

I want to share few things,

1. if you doont have PP Module.. you can use network as an order and activities as routings.....

2. if you are have PP Module then project become statistical... everything comes through PP order....

in this case - just mention Purchase, production , assembly as activities.... transfer BOM against these activities then genrate requirement through MRP RUN...

in this you are maintaining BOM, Routings,......

I hope this will clarify..... if wrong please do suggest...

not sure about your question

routing is a production term where the job has to go through various work stations (routed) before it is complete

in Project management - the network process flow consisting of each activity is nothing but routing

so in PS the routing is the network actvity
