please see [Note 1092631|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1092631]
The registry files attached to the Note set the "'kill bit' for ... files belonging to the SAP GUI installation" and "can be used for all supported SAP GUI for Windows versions (presently 6.20 and 7.10)."
We still have a substantial installed based of SAP GUI 6.40, for which SAP discontinued support in October 2008.
Does anyone know whether these registry files also work for SAP GUI 6.40 installations?
