AFS SALES GRID IN SD

Hi Experts,

What about sales grid(AFS) in SD ? What are the uses of Sales grid?Pls explain.

Hi,

In general - apparel and footwear industries - we will be having different characteristics for a material like color, size,etc.

If we don't use the grid functionality - we need to maintain a separate material for each combination.

say . red color , 28 cm TShirt - need 1 material master record

black color, 28 cm T Shirt - need another one material master record.

To avoid this, AFS has a Grid functionality.

Grid - we will create thru transaction J3AH.

There we can assign a maximum of 3 characteristics. (Use CT04 to create own characteristics).

Then assign ur grid to a material.

Hi, J3AH is the T code for Add Product Grid in AFS, where as J3AN is T code for Create Sales Grid and J3AO is the T code for Change Sales Grid.
