Order Text in Sales Order

Hi Gurus,

I am trying to create a sales order thru BAPI.I am able to see an order_text item in the line item level of the BAPI.

Where exactly does it show in the line item of the sales order. I tried to enter values but i am unable to see it in the line item.

Please help

Hi,

Goto sales order VA01 / VA02 ,double click on item .

In texts tab you will get text.

Are you using BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2.

Yes i am using the same BAPI. i have entered the value in the text item. ABAPer is telling me that TDOBJECT is missing in the BAPI. Otherwise i have entered all the values. But nothing gets populated in the text field that u have suggested.

Hi,

Check VOTXN t.code. Select sales document item. Click on Text types.

Here we maintain Text ID.

Maintain values in TDID , TDFORMAT and TDLINE

Dear Chandra,

All these value have been maintained. For the same that is maintained only I am entering values in the BAPI.

There is one field called FUNCTION (3 length) in the BAPI that I don't know about. Apart from that I have entered all values in BAPI.
