Application gets cached in WAS while deploying

Hi,

I have an ear file which contains web project and ejb project. I am getting some exceptions thrown in the defaulttrace.log file during deployment. Even after changing the code, regenerating the ear file and deplloying it in WAS, iam getting the same error in the same line number, which is not possible. I guess there is some caching happening either at SDM level or at server level..Any help

This looks strange, how did you deplou the application?

You can also manually undeploy itfrom the Visual Admin -deploy service.

After deploy it again and you'll be sure that you deploy the "updated" version.

iam using NWDS to deploy the application.

Nor the NWDS/deploy perspective nor the Web AS deploy service are caching ear/sca files.

Open the visual admin/server/deploy service/applications

and during redeploy you'll se how your application is stoped/deleted/re-deployed and started againg

just need to do referesh during deploy.

Also you can try manual deploy using RemoteGUI or Visual Admin.
