Connecting 2 servers

Hi gurus,

I have 2 internal hard discs.In 1 hard disc i have installed SRM and in another hard disc i hav installed ECC with help of VMWare(virtual machine).Now i am able to work both at a time.How to connect both systems ?because i want to send data to ECC from SRM and viceversa .how to configure TMS ?i was not able to configure?pls help

From an application point of view, there are some pretty good SRM cookbooks available.

Read up on back-end systems.

Hi,

Create an RFC destination in each system to conenct to the other one.

Then you have to figure out which functional data you want to transfer and to study how to configure this transfer.

I am Trying with RFC only but it is not connecting each other.In RFC which option i have to select for eg 1.ABAP connection 2.Internala Connection 3.HTTP connection 4 .TCP/IP connection ? pls provide some more details

Use Abap connections RFC destinations to connect 2 Abap systems by RFC !

Read the documentation on RFC destinations, I will not spoon feed you...

create

then fill the entry..

connection type/harget host/ip and all

save

test connection

then try to login

you will get the solution
