Where does queue actually start?
For eg : If I am doing a File to Rfc scenario . Will the file adapter read the contents and place in any of the inbound queues?
If the contents that are read from the file are put in a queue say XBT1 0001 , Does it stay there until is reaches the receiver adapter?Does the message get transferred to another queue after message mapping?
I read that there are two type of queues 1)inbound queue and 2) Outbound queue
And additionally a filter can be set for restricting the messages that pass through the queue at any of the following location
Integration Server (inbound)
Integration Server(outbound)
Integration Engine (inbound)
Integration Engine(Outbound)
Why is there 4 different positions ? what is the difference between setting a filter at Integration Server (inbound) and Integration Engine (inbound).
Please help me understand

Vignesh
