Archive and delete data in XI

Hi All,

i want to archive data on production server .

i have gone through step by step guide for archive and delete message in XI

this guide is just archiving and deletion of all data apart from retention data.

but I have query ....... If i want to delete data for a prticular period (for example 1st may 2008 to 1st june 2008) then how can we do it ?

any weblog or guide or documentation will be highly aapreciated ....

query 2---- can any body provide me step by step guide for DB reorganisation through BR tool? I have already gone through SAP help documetation for BR tool and data maintenance

Dear Sandeep,

regarding query 1: Reorganizing (=deleting or archiving) data for a certain period is not possible. Both deletion and archiving always handle all XML messages that are not in retention period. There is no way to restrict this set of messages with XI standard tools.

did you check with This SAP Note

Note 748434 - New BRSPACE function "dbcreate" - recreate database

Note 646681 - Reorganizing tables with BRSPACE
