Hi,
when we created a JCO Connexion in the WAS Java we got the following error :
CIM_ERR_ACCESS_DENIED : User ... not in role LcrInstanceWriterLD...
does the JCO user really need acces to the rôle LcrInstanceWriterLD in SLD and why ?
How does this work if the connexion uses logon tickets ?
What are the risks of giving this role to users ?
Thanks
So let me answer my own question :
CIM_ERR_ACCESS_DENIED : User ... not in role LcrInstanceWriterLD...
does the JCO user really need acces to the rôle LcrInstanceWriterLD in SLD and why ?
No he doesn't. The sld user used by the was java needs this role.
What are the risks of giving this role to users ?
Users can change landscape information in the SLD.
They can that way also change where JCO connexions point...
Thanks
