kernel upgradation

i am going to perform kernel upgradation.in my production we have 6 application servers, if i upgrade kernel in CI is it update all the application servers or we have to update each and every application server? is there any way to setup kernel it should be effect all the application servers?could you please suggest .

Hi,

There is no need to apply to each application server,please follow general procedure.But before doing this don't forget to take the backup of old kernal directory.

Hi,

As per my knowledge, upgrading the Kernel in the d:\usr\sap\<SID>\sys\exe folder should be fine.

It gets copied to the DVEBMSG folder when you restart the Server. but before that take a backup of the kernel files in all the Servers(including application servers, even though it is not necessary)
