CE Installtion fails due to Watchdog timeout

Hi all,

i got a failure when trying to install CE7.1

The following failure occurs:

com.sap.engine.bootstrap.SynchronizationException: No progress was recorded since [ Thu Jan 08 13:03:18 CET 2009]. Check the DB and FS state. In case you are using MAXDB ensure that the log/data volumes are not full.

at com.sap.engine.bootstrap.Bootstrap.timeout(Bootstrap.java:299)

at com.sap.engine.lib.time.Watchdog.onTimeout(Watchdog.java:143)

at com.sap.engine.lib.time.Watchdog.run(Watchdog.java:101)

I have checked, that log and data volumes are not full. The SAPservice<SID> user also has all permissions(administrator) on the file system.

Where can i increase the watchdog.timeout value ?

Can anybody give me a hint what's going wrong and how to solve the problem ?

Hi,

Check out the Snote 997510 to handle bootstrap errors.If you can post us dev_jcontrol, bootstrap log we will be able to frill more in to the issue.
