Hi!
we installed three systems on the same Windows 2003 Enterprise Server 64 Bit.
SAP Solution Manager
SAP NetWeaver 2004s
SAP EP
We have 12 GB RAM, Windows 2006 64 Bit
Now I would like to optimize the storage parameters on ABAP and J2EE stack.
Cann some one tell which parameters are relevant for start annd usage of
SAP ABAP stack (e.g. PHYS_MEMSIZE, ABAP_BUFFERSIZE)
SAP J2EE stack
With which tools can I change the settings?
Thank you very much
Hello Axel,
For J2EE Stack, please refer to the SAP note 723909. You could configure all the JVM related settings using the configtool. You find this tool under j2ee\configtool directory.
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Snehal

Hi,

I hope this is a sandbox system because 12 GB ram is very small for 3 systems with some including abap and java stacks....

Hai,
Normally all the parameters are dynamically set by SAP itself. If you face any problems in the systems while working on it then you have to decide on Tuning parameters according to your error or dumps in the system.
Tuning the storage parameters are not easy, and also they might make the system vulnerable.
Use RZ10 to configure the parameters.
