Comparision: Goods Receipts SRM x ECC

Hi experts,

In my project we're studying the possibilities of having goods receipts in SRM 5.0 or ECC 6.0. As ECC 6.0 has a web interface, it wouldn't be better to let the user do goods receipt directly in ECC, avoiding configurations on both sides and having to do maintenance of a RFC or XI interface?

Only to make it clear, we'll use Enterprise Portal to display both SRM and ECC services.

Hi Christiano,

You have to determine what is the best system to do confirmation depending on user population.

One population of user should do all their activities in the same system.

1-Currently, what system are using people in charge of doing the confirmation step (R.3 or EBP) ?

Any change management planned ?...

2-Are you going to implement any workflow confirmation ?

3- Are you going to implement service entry sheet ?

4- Are people (doing the confirmation step), going to do any other R/3 activities such as stock transfer...
