Hi All,
We have an issue regarding ALERT , in which Alert Mails are not genearting in Production system
Kindly help us to resolve this issue ASAP ..

the write log option will be available in the tcode ALRTCATDEF. from there click settings -- > configuration.
check that option and try.

Hi,
Check the RFC Destination Central Monitoring Server in tcode sm59 is working fine. Try a test connection and remote log on. And check the technical settings of this RFC destination. If the details point to the same XI server , then in ALRTCATDEF , make sure that the RFC destination of the Alert Server has been set to NONE. Make sure that user id XIRWBUSER is used in this rfc destination.Generally this is the user id that will be used to trigger the Alerts.

Hi All,
Alert are not generating in Alert Inbox & while checking it in ALRTCATDEF in setting while configuration write log shoukd be there which is not getting displayed..
Is it due to write log problem alert are not getting generated.
Please solve the problem & please sen dme step by step procedure for the same.

also check the following services need to be activated for the Alert Configuration:
- /sap/bc/bsp/sap/system,
- /sap/bc/bsp/sap/public/bc
- /sap/public/bsp/sap/public/bc
- /sap/public/bsp/sap/system
- /sap/public/bsp/sap/htmlb
- /sap/public/bc
- /sap/public/bc/ur
