sold party (A) places order ,goods sent to ship to party (B), invoice send to bill to party (c) and the payment

done by payer (D).ALL THESE PARTNER FUNCTIONS AND THEIR ADDRESS ARE DIFFERENT .when we

create customer master data, we need a account group. in this scenario, which account group should i select

to create a customer master data?

your assistance will be greatly helpful.

thank you.

Hi

You can use

0001 Sold-to party

0002 Ship-to party

0003 Payer

0004 Bill-to party

this account group to create the customer master in the order given and at the time of creation of slod to party you have to attch the created code for different p'ner function to the sold to party.

Thx

Dear Suresh,

While Creating Master Data, select account Group of Sold to Party & create master data for Sold to Party Customer. Similary select account group of Payer & create amster record of Payer.

Follow the same process for Bill to Party & Ship to Party.

Thus you will have four seperate Customer codes for SOld to PArty, Ship to party, Bill to Party & Payer.

Now use T-code XD02 & open Sold to Party Customer account.

Go to Sales Area Data - Partner Functions Tab page.

Here you should assign Customer codes of BP (BIll to Party), PY (Payer) & (SP) Ship to party.

Now create a Sales Order (VA01) & enter Sold to Party. Go to Partners Tab & you will see that system has automatically selected BIll to Party, Ship to Party & Payer as mentioned in Master Record of Sold to Party.

Hope this helps...

Dear Suresh,

If, you would have been taken assistance from [Search Forum|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/forumsearch]; You would have got so many related threads:

Anyways,

Procedure

Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

IMG > Financial Accounting (New) > Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable > Customer Accounts > Master Data > Preparations for Creating Customer Master Data > Define Account Groups with Screen Layout (Customers)

Transaction Code : SPRO

The groups indicated below are a few examples. There are many groups in Standard SAP & if we require additional Group, it can be copied from appropriate group & maintained.

Group | Name

0001 | Sold-to party

0002 | Goods recipient

0003 | Payer

0004 | Bill-to party

0005 | Prospective customer

0006 | Competitor

Select Sold-to-party > go to Details > Double Click on General data / Company code data / Sales data. It will take to next screen which details Tab Pages of General data / Company code data / Sales data. Double Click on Tab Page for example: Address, Control, Marketing & so on. Here you can maintain whether the field is to be Suppress, Req. Entry, Opt. entry or Display

T. Code: VOPA

There you have to Assign the Partner Function (SP/BP/SH) to the account group.

Best Regards,

Amit
