DB13 ORA-01017 invalid username/password; logon denied

Hi,

When i issue checkdatabase in DB13, I got error ORA-01017:invalid username/password; logon denied. I have looked thru sapnote 400241 and found that my SAP<SID>_01 service is started by local system account and not started by SAPService<SID>.

for SAP<SID>_02, the service is started by SAPService<SID>, and it's ok. but for SAP<SID>_01, the service couldn't start with SAPService<SID>, with "Error 5: Access is denied". I found sapnote 82751 on this error. but the problem still exist. Pls help.

This seems to be a problem with the OPS$ users.... note that in Windows is required that SAPservice<SID> has access to table SAPUSER so you need to make sure synonyms are in place.

hi,

yes, synonyms are in place.

I found that SAPService<SID> do not have permission access to desktop\sapstartsrv.exe used to start.

After granting access, SAP<SID>_01 can be started by SAPService<SID>, however, dispatcher(disp+work.exe) could started then stopped.

when i start SAP<SID>_01 with local system account, dispatcher can be started.

SAP<SID>_02 is started with SAPService<SID>.

pls help.
