WebServices - how to create client for NW-WS runtime in Eclipse

Hello !

From NWDS 7.1 i can create web services client using SAP Netweaver Runtime as target runtime.

I wish to do the same in Eclipse J2EE 3.4 just because it support JSF 1.2 wchic NWDS 7.1 does not support.

Any ideas how to do that ?

Im asking because code generaded with Apache Axis as runtime does not work (when using SAP supplied WSDLs)

Hello Jacek,

To be sure that all functionality (specially WebDynpro) works, you have

to install both parts, Developer Studio and engine, in exactly the same

version. These are the correspondences:

6.40 is based on Eclipse 2.1

7.0 is based on Eclipse 2.1

7.1 SP1, SP2, CE 1.0 is based on Eclipse 3.2.1

7.1 SP3 is based on Eclipse 3.3.0

7.1 EHP1 is based on Eclipse 3.3.2

7.2 will be based on Ganymede (Eclipse 3.4.x)

So if you are trying to develop for a Netweaver WAS Java of a lower release, you will probably find some problems.
