In DP we do Forecasting say Univariate forecasting for a product based on demand history. Now you have some forecast stored in Keyfigure say 'Forecast'. This need not be the final forecast that will be sent to SNP. Planners can make adjustments to a make a final consensus value stored in a Keyfigure say 'Final Foreacst'. During DP release to SNP (using transaction /SAPAPO/MC90) this forecast from the keyfigure 'Final Forecast' will be released.
So the output of DP is the forecast value (in the keyfigure 'Forecast) as a result of Forecasting techniqiues which need not be the same that is released to SNP (value from 'Final Forecast' keyfigure).Again it all depends on the client's requirement whether to make any adjustments to the forecast value or not.

Hi sr,
The out put of DP PIR's are unconstrained demand planning these PIR's send to SNP for Constrained Planning. So, both are same before run SNP techniques.
we will check in /sapapo/rrp3 it will disp individual requirements for our products.

Hi s r,
Output of dp and release of dp to snp is same. Only difference is the category, wherein dp has Forecast as category wherein snp has PIR as category.

Hi S R,
The output of DP and SNP are quantitatively same. Only difference is the ATP category. In DP it is forecast and in SNP, the planned independent requirements.
Hope this helps your query.
