BI 7.0 setting for SAPGUI 710

Hello All,

I am having this problem in setting Bex 7.0 after installing SAP GUI 710. SAP has scrapped SAPGUI 640 from download in service market place as a result of which changing to BI 7.0 has become a problem.

When going from Programs - Business Explorer - Bex Analyzer its supposed to open as 7.0 version but currently it opens as 3.5. Is there any way to change this setting to 7.0.

The system is currently installed with Windows Excel 2003. Is that a problem?

Also the consultant says that they are unable to view information broadcasting tab in Bex analyzer. how do i go about setting the same?

About your question, are you have installed Bi 7.0 ? For this in your PC must be at least .NET 2.0 .

The Compilation you are use are 1 2 or 3 ?

Are you see :

drive:Program FilesSAPBusiness ExplorerBIBExAnalyzer.exe ? It's a new BEx.

it opens as 3.5

it's the server settings not PC, try to check RRMX_CUST transaction.
