Integration between MDM 5.5 and PI 7.0

Hi Experts ,

MDM PI Adapter is available in MDM7,its not available in mdm5.5,but PI7.0 has functionality to import MDM adapter available in market place . I wish to know, even if i do that in PI, is it necessary to import MDM adapter and do certain configuration in MDM5.5.

I mean if so is the situation, I wont be able to do so , and will hav to for simple FILE adapter to transfer data between MDM5.5 and PI 7.0

Is it possible to use MDM adater to integrate between MDM5.5 and PI 7.0 .

I know PI7.0 supports it, but not MDM5.5. Does it matter to match at both the systems?Do we need to do settings/configurations at the MDM end so as to use MDM adapter??

Hi Arban,

MDM PI adapter is available in PI7.1 & u can also install it in PI7.0

But u can not use it with MDM 5.5.

U must have MDM 7.1 to use MDM PI adapter............ from PI7.0 or PI7.1

If u hv MDM5.5 then u should continue using FTP/NFS from PI.

1 last question. had I MDM7.1, then would i had to do some settings/ configurations to enable the MDM adapter in MDM?

Is it send default with the MDM 7.1 software, or needs seperate upload?

Hi Arban,

MDM PI adapter is available in PI 7.1 with SP05 and above AS WELL AS in PI 7.0 with SP15 and above.

MDM 5.5 does not support MDM PI Adapter.

U must have MDM 7.1 to use MDM PI adapter.
