Dear Gurus,

We are trying to implement a LSMW for XD01 where we want to update SORT1 and SORT2 in General TAB. We tried it but came a key as SORTL on the LSMW. Please kindly update us if there is a way to get SORT1 & SORT2 keys.

Hi Jeewana,

SORT1 and SORT2 fields are part of the address data.

Since release 4.5B, KNA1 is not anymore the key storage of the address data.

With the integration of Business Address Services (BAS formely CAM), tables like ADRC do contain more extended and accurate address data.

If you still plan to use LSMW, I would recommend that you generate ADRMAS idocs into memory and process them.

Be aware that the address data is always processed in FULL. As a result, if you want to maintain only SORT1 and SORT2, ALL the other address data must be read and sent to the database.

The missing part will be deleted.

Nota: XD99 will not help as it is designed to process ONLY customer master data trought a virtual DEBMAS idocs. As DEBMAS is not responsible to maintain the address in full (See above), then XD99 is useless in your case.

Hi Jeewana,

In case you are using the standard programme for LSMW (not a recording) then instead of SORT1 you will see SORTL only, however you may assign the SORT1 field to SORTL in "Maintain Field Mapping and Conversion Rules" and it will take the data to SORT1 field only.
