Dear Gurus,
In my project, progress is calculated based on cost. Each activity will have weightage. Based on completion of activity actual Percentage Of Completion(POC) calculated.
So I have to follow Cost Proportinal measurement method to ccalculate project progress.
1. What are all the settings required to acheive this?
2. Do we have to use Statistical Key Figures & Value Categories?
Kindly give your inputs.
Regards
Suresh
Hi Anuradha / Ramesh,
Thanks for your reply.
I am using WBS-Cost element cost planning (CJ40) and I have configure in IMG "Specify parameters for Network" as DO NOT DETERMINE PLAN COST.
I have done the configs for progress. I have put the weightage in the activities. While running the report,
1. Planned POC & Actual POC is showing as Zero.
2. POC weightage is not getting roll up from activities to WBS and project definition also.
Have I missed any config?
My Basic question is, Can we use Cost proportinal method, for above described scnerioa? WIll it work?
Regards
Suresh

If it's cost Proportional measurement method, I don't think you need not do anything with SKF.

Hi Suresh,
Create a progress version for the controlling area of the project. You can do this in customizing under Project System -> Progress -> Progress Analysis -> Maintain project version.
You have to maintain statistical key figures for POC.
You can calculate project progress with transaction CNE2.
