Barcode Problem Smartforms

Hi,

I have tried many things with barcodes... Install TBarCode to print old type barcodes on standard printers without the barcode module, and now also printing barcodes with smartforms on all other printers.

The problem now is, printing on a SAP installed device over smartforms with the new barcode type, is working. But if I now use the device Type "LOCL" to print on a specific windows printer, the barcode is always VERY small and in a bad quality.

We now got a SATO printer and tried to print it on this one, but as it is not connected as a network printer, it is also printing the barcodes super small. The funny thing is, the number, displayed below the barcode, is printed in the normal size!

Does anybody know, what the problem here is?

When you print through LOCAL, the system sends to the printer using the printer driver installed on your local PC. When you print using the printer name it goes through the printer driver defined on the application server and linked to the printer in SPAD. These can be different versions and called with different print control characters
