CM_NO_DATA_RECEIVED

Hi when calling an RFC file - > XI -> RFC

I get in the RFC adapter the following error

com.sap.aii.af.rfc.afcommunication.RfcAFWException: error while processing message to remote system:com.sap.aii.af.rfc.core.client.RfcClientException: JCO.Exception while calling Z_RECEIVE_FROM_NIPENDO in remote system (RfcClient[RFC_Receiver]):com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (104) RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE: connection closed without message (CM_NO_DATA_RECEIVED)

what is the reason?

Hi Udi,

The sender rfc adapter supports function modules with atleast one parameter defined, that is your import parameter, export parameter, changing parameter, or tables in them. Just make sure you have it right here.

oops!!..

Copied the wrong link.

1.Please can you check if you are able to import any RFC in your IR from the system you are trying to send the data to. This is to check if your connection to the Receiver system is working fine.

2. Also, are all the parameters of the RFC adapter specified.

Hi Udi,

- First make sure that the RFC is remote enabled.which i guess you know how to do.

- then make sure that you have activated it.

- then also note that you have to release the RFC from SE37 using menu Function Module->Release.

let me know if u have problem even after doing that.

i have also edited the link that i had pasted earlier.pls go through that also.

abhy
