Hi everyone,
In our current project, the client is evaluating to install two instances of Access Control 5.3 (development and production environments) on the same physical/logical server (one single computer without virtualization). Hardware resources (as regards CPU, memory and hard drive) are apparently enough to host both environments.
Is this posssible? Has anyone attempted this approach before?
Are there any considerations that we should follow to ensure the correct installation of both instances?
Or are there any technical limitations that would prevent to follow this approach?
Regards,
Pablo Vaquero
Hope this is not a cluster. If it is not cluster, then you can have but make sure that both are different
SID id. You can have any number of multiple instances and there is no techincal issue in that.
I have, say X41 and X21 instances and both have thier own DB isntances..So both are independent.
Thansk
