Posting periods(f_bkpf_bup)

Dear All,

for posting periods, we have created 3 authorization groups and 3 user groups.

the users who are in those three user groups can only post , but one user has passed the entry after the period was closed who is not part of that three user groups.

Now i need to trace out the issue. Is there any object other than f_bkpf_bup, for passing the entries after the period was closed.

Kindly do the needul.

User Groups have nothing to do with posting period restriction, it is only authorisation groups against that period.

If you have maintained an authorisation group against the period then only users with access to F_BKPF_BUP and that value (or a * value) should be able to post.

What transaction is the user using?

Check SU24 entries for VF01, F_BKPF_BUP may be set to "Do Not Check". If this is the case then you should change the check indicator to "Check". You may want to change the proposal indicator to "YES"
