Dear all,
We are in the midst of sizing network bandwidth requirement for SAP implementation which involves some remote locations. Actually Iu2019ve gone through the documentation (Front-End Network Requirements for SAP Business Solutions), and found the way of calculating the network requirements based on number of users (C = N * D * X * 0.25 formula), however Iu2019m not sure if the formula does include the SAP printing bandwidth requirement. Appreciate if you can shed some lights on SAP printing network sizing guide or sort.
Best regards
Rolando
Hello,
actually, it doesn't include printing requirements inherently.
You'll have to add them. If you know the average size of the documents and the average thoughput per time unit, you can use the formula above as well.
Printing is very customer-dependent...
Best regards,
Susanne

Thanks Susanne,
Understand we need to rely on the information on how much the printing requirement is to come up with the estimation on SAP printing bandwidth requirement.
Perhaps you have some experience on the size of 1 page of SAP printlist (plain text) ? Is it safe to have assumption that 1 page of print list would have 20-30 KB in size? And ones with pictures/logos are 100-200KB in size?
Best regards
Rolando
