Hi Experts,
We have a scenario where the client may use multiple plants to manufacture a component. The client will try to complete the project in one plant itself. But, the following conditions may happen;
Case 1. When there's no sufficient capacity or resources, the balance manufacturing process in project has to be completed in other plant.
Case 2: Few numbers of parts will be manufactured in one plant, balance will be manufactured in other plant
How can this be done, and how to account for costs...for two plants? How do we complete balance or remaining machining processes in other plants? Please advise.

Consider the possibility of using different networks for different plants, in same project.

Try making use of "cost centers" instead of "Plant".
This would give you ease in cost planning + reporting + allocations.
