hi

the central person (object type CP) contains the link to the organizational unit. Assuming you are using SAP HR, the system requires a relationship with the HR Object 'Central Person' in your backend system.

To integrate business partners in CRM with the HR application components, use the following IMG path: CRM -> masterdata -> business partner -> Set up integration /w HR. Follow the steps below.

1. Execute the activity.

The screen HR: Set Central Person appears.

2. Add X as the value ID for the semantic ID EEALE for the group name CPERS.

In standard CRM, this field is blank.

3. Choose Active plan version as the value for the semantic ID PLOGI for the group PLOGI.

4. Select a value (for example, BUP003) for the semantic ID PROLE for the group CPERS. In this way, you specify the role for the employee.

5. Save

6. Adjust the ALE distribution model of your HR system.

Hello Harish,

In SRM every entity is addressed as Business Partner, irrespective of whether it is an employee, vendor, Company code, plant, P.Org, P.Group.

Central Person is there only for User. As I said every entity in an Organization is a business partner.

So user will have BP, Central person and Position.

Central person is actually the person responsible and position represents the user's position in the Org. Structure.

No other BP will have Central person and position other than user.

Hope this makes you more clear. Clarifications are welcome.

Award points for helpful answers.
