error message L4036 in WM

HI all,

In t codes LI04 or LI11N i have error message L4036 u2018u2019 Default values for this storage type are not maintainedu2019u2019. Itu2019s the first time that inventory will be done for the stotage types 901 and 902 (buffer stock)

Can you help me to understand whatu2019s wrong ??

Hi,

Please check your setting: SPRO > LE > WM > Activities > PI > Define Default values.

Yes as mentioned you need to setup "Define Default Values", here you define the print, the variance etc... Inventory can be done if you have just maintained the Storage Type to be inventorsed "Define per storage type" but for functions like print to work, you need to define the defaults in the config.

Hi,

How did you manage to create inventory document first for these interim storage types? Because there are no typical storage bins defined for interim storage types.

Check if required entries are made in transaction OMNK.
