New Created Shopping Cart linked to old SC and status waiting for approval

Hi All,

We have an issue where newly created Shopping Cart for services linked to old Shopping cart and the status showing is waiting for approval. We have tried all opetion but faced similar error for other newly created Shopping Cart.

Steps to follow:

(a) Create a New Shopping Cart for Services

(b) New Shopping Cart created.

(c) Follow on Documents Status showing Old Shopping Cart and PO whose Invoicing is already done and status is completed.

How newly created Shopping Cart is linked to the Old Shopping Cart which was already closed?

Hi,

This kind of issue arises when number ranges were changed earlier or because of system copy etc.

in you system you can see there already exist records for PO, conf and invoice and system has now again create the same PO number either beacuse number ranges were manipulated later ,however the data still exist in the system and now since same PO is created it has linked the PO and its history to the new shopping cart.

Carefully analyze what could have happened and then again chnage your number ranges so that it does not overlap with the already existing number in the system.
