Where to configure sdm connectionf from NWDS ?

Dear XI expert,

I have developed java proxy using NWDS, please advise where i can setup the connection to deploy directly from NWDS to J2EE enginee ? in stead of copy the .ear to server and use SDM in the server to deploy the ear file.

Hi,

In the windows, preference ---> SAP J2eee, i am only can see 2 parameters.

Message Server host and Message Server Port.

How to configure SDM host, SDM Port, username anda password ?

SDM deploys on j2ee engine

so you either use SDM or NWDS which does the same thing as SDM

Hi Fernand,

Using NWDS you can directly deploy the Java Proxy developed.

Follow this to specify the J2EE Engine Server Details :

Select Window menu -->Preferences- -> Select SAP J2EE Engine

Specify the Server Details.

Right Click on the EAR and select DEploy on J2EE Engine.

If you are using NWDS 7.0 then

Go to Windows ---> Prefrences ---> SAP J2EE Engine.
