Dear Experts,

Actually we are closing one project office.

So management has decided to sale the equipment (Furniture, Computer, etc)

Right now we are not using IM.

Is their any procedure to asset sale in Customer projects, the amount should come and sit in profit center or project.

Still my xxxxxxx are ready to sell without showing any value in SAP.

I am waiting for your valuable inputs.

Hi

You need to retire asset through F-92 and then sell it through ABAO.

If u want to book the revenues generated from asset sale on Project then mention the WBS element in the Sales order or If u are booking the Invoice directly then mention it in the Invoce creation transaction.

U can not book the revenues directly on Profit Center. Profit Centers are assigned to Cost objects like WBS or Cost Centers. When a posting is made on Cost Objects, that would be reflected on Profit Center as they are assigned to Cost object.

Asset sales can be done with F-92 (with Customer) and ABAO (Withour Customer). Creating a sales order or booking direct invoice is not right process.

In F-92 u can mention WBS element. But I am not sure wil the revenues reflect on WBS. Try once and check the results in S_AAR_87013564.

Review the whole process with ur FI consultant. May be the revenue generated from Asset sale should not be part of Project revenue.

Request u to post this in "ERP Financials - Asset Accounting" forum also and see what comments u get.
