Hi,
I have installed the ST-PI 2008 plug-in as the RTCCTOOL tool had requested, but now the u201CSAP earlywatch service reportu201D keep informing than I need the ST-PI 2005 plug-in with patch level 0008.
The problem is that the SAINT tool doesnu2019t recognize the files of the ST-PI 2005 so I canu2019t install this package. The files dosenu2019t appears on the SAINT window to be uploaded. I donu2019t know if I have to uninstall the ST-PI 2008 first? Is it possible? Does someone have any suggestion?
The section of the Service Report which shows the problem to be solved:
3.3.2 ST-PI and ST-A/PI Plug-Ins
The table below shows the implemented service plug-ins, their releases, and patch levels as well as the recommended releases, patch levels, and recommendations.
Plug-In Release Patch Level Rec. Release Rec. Patch Level
ST-PI 2008_1_640 0000 2005_1_640 0008 ST-PI is not up to date.
Please run RTCCTOOL and follow the given recommendations. note 539977

We had the same issue and i have open a OSS message and this is the reply.
Unfortunately the check in this section does not 'understand' that
ST-PI 2008_1 is newer than ST-PI 2005_1. However, we have the following
information from the developer:
"..This bug has been fixed for SP01 of ST-SER 701_2008_2 which will be
available on February 9, 2009. Since the necessary changes are performedvia table entries and not by changes of coding, it is not possible to
create an SAP Note..."
So currently, we have to wait until February 9, 2009 to fix this bug.
