VA05 Mass change

I have a question.

Everytime I go to VA05, and then go to Edit, and choose Mass Change - I can change the materials of a BOM's component. Which I think is not right.

Do you think that this is right?

Hi Friend

Doing Mass Change in VA05 ,but changing the BOM component materials is not correct because You are telling that for a material A , Material B & Material C are its components.So there will be some data maintained by the PP consultants also for the BOM components.If you change then it will definitely affect the PP configuration also.

So my opinion is MASS change of BOM components is not correct .

Is this the standard behavior of VA05? Can we do anything not to allow this?
