Dear forum members,
We have a requirement to load 2 hyperlink fields onto each catalogue item, one being the standard hyperlink and one being a link to a word document held on an internal network drive.
We want to have a field called 'Goods Spec' to hold the latter document, and so we want to have it as a bespoke field which should work alongside the standard hyperlink field.
We tried creating the bespoke field, nd. due to a limitation in the SUI, we have created it pointing to the same qualified lookup table which the standard hyperlink table uses ('Hyperlinks')
However, import manager is getting confused when loading the 2 fields and loads both to the standard field 'Hyperlink'. If we map the fields to the different destination fields in the 'catalogue items' table', it saves only the mapping the the standard 'Hyperlink' table every time
Is this a restriction we cannot avoid?
Is there a different way we can get this working? We don't want to create 2 records for each item which needs to have 2 links, but this seems to be what we may have to do.
