Authorisation issue in Univariate Forecast

Dear all

I have a problem in that I recieve an error message when trying to save my forecast result in univariate forecasting for a given combination. The error message states that I am "not authorized to use the selected function" once I try to save the result.

I have checked the Authorization Data for the test user role and also compared it with a role/user, which do not meet the error.

Have you experienced anything similar?

Hi,

In order to execute the forecast, you need to have authorization object CA_APO_PRPF u2013 Forecast profile assigned to your role.

make sure you have the authorizations as listed in [Authorization in Supply Network and Demand Planning|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm50/helpdata/en/21/f6253b90e48743e10000000a11402f/frameset.htm]

Also when you get this error, immediately open a new window ( or in the same window) go to transaction SU53. This gives you the object missing.
