Calling the OCI application from outside SRM server?

Hi All,

Is it possible to transfer catalog data from an OCI BSP application to the EBP screen without calling it from SHOP link on EBP?

I mean we have a BSP application which is called using OCI from the standard ITS application using a link and it is transfered perfectly

so similarly is it possible to call the same BSP application directly entring the URL in browser , selecting some items and then transfering this shopping cart to the standard ITS application ?

Is there any possibility by hardcoding the value of return url(hook_url)?

If yes how and if no what is the reason..

Hi,

Your requirement is creating a SC from external application. In that case OCI is not right interface.

You should call Function Module like BBPSCCREATE from your BSP application.

Hi,

It is technically possible but you have to open a Shopping Cart before opening the catalog. Application should be ready to recieve OCI return. Hook_URL should be hard corded.

I do not see any benefit for directly entering the URL. Why you need to type in the URL? You can use catalog link for your custom catalog.

Hi Masa,

We are using custom links for our catalog but now the customer wants to raise a shopping cart without logging in to the SRM .He wants a link in the portal that directly opens the BSP application without going to ITS screen?

Application should be ready to recieve OCI return.

How can we acchieve this?
